Job Role and Responsibilities: The school is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs and disabilities, starting in January/February 2024. Responsibilities include providing learning support, assisting in classroom management, and leading intervention work in 1-2-1 or small group settings.
Who Are They Looking For? The ideal candidate should possess:
- A level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
- Previous experience working with children who have special educational needs, disabilities, and social and emotional needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Dynamic, resilient, and hardworking with a positive mindset.
Working Pattern: Term time only plus one additional week for training needs and requirements. The working pattern is as follows:
- Monday to Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Thursday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
