The global travel and tourism event, organised by RX Global, is expected to build on the strong performance of its 2025 edition, which was described as the biggest and most successful in the show’s history.

WTM London continues to serve as a major meeting point for travel industry professionals, tourism boards, buyers, exhibitors, ministers, and decision-makers from across the world. The 2026 edition will feature an enhanced conference programme, expanded networking opportunities, new show-floor experiences, and a stronger focus on travel technology.

According to organisers, WTM London 2025 attracted representatives from 182 countries, with total attendance rising to 46,500. Exhibitor numbers increased by 5% year-on-year, driven largely by strong growth in the Travel Tech region, which recorded a 55% increase.

The event also welcomed 5,500 high-quality buyers, representing an 8% year-on-year increase, while confirmed business meetings rose by 16% to more than 40,000. Organisers said business deals directly attributed to WTM London 2025 were worth over £2.2 billion.

For 2026, WTM London has introduced paid visitor tickets from the start of registration, aligning the event with other major global travel trade shows. The initial ticket price has been frozen at 2025 levels, with organisers saying the revenue will be reinvested into the event to support new features, growth, and added value for attendees.

Visitors who purchase tickets before 1 August 2026 will save 50% compared with on-the-day pricing. Ticket holders will gain access to the full expert speaker programme, thousands of global exhibitors, the full version of the WTM Global Travel Report, and new features, including WTM Travel Tech, a co-located event created to meet growing demand in the travel technology sector.

Following its successful debut, WTM TrendFest will return in 2026 with a more prominent presence at the heart of the show. WTM TV will also return with larger screens and increased visibility across the show floor.

The 2026 conference programme will be refreshed under the theme: “Resilience, rebound & reinvention: the next era of global travel.” Organisers will introduce a new stage format while retaining some of the event’s most established features.

A major addition for 2026 is the WTM Wanderlust Headliner Stage, hosted and curated by Wanderlust, WTM’s official consumer media partner. The stage will bring a more consumer-facing perspective to the programme.

Speakers announced for the Wanderlust Headliner Stage include Andrew Flintham, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays; Gloria Guevara, President and CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council; Sir Michael Palin, actor, writer and traveller; Patricia Yates, CEO of VisitBritain/VisitEngland; and Rob Ransom, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Booking Holdings.

Other stages, including the Trends Stage, Experience Hub and Future Stage, will feature senior executives and industry leaders discussing key issues shaping the global travel sector.

Flagship features such as the WTM Ministers Summit, held in association with UN Tourism and WTTC, and the ITT Future You Forum will also return in 2026. These will be supported by expanded networking opportunities designed to encourage stronger business connections across the industry.

The WTM Global Travel Report will again form part of the event programme, offering insights into changing traveller behaviour and major travel industry trends. Full access to the report will be included with every ticket booking.

For the first time, the Egyptian Tourism Authority has been named WTM London’s Premier Partner for 2026. Organisers said the partnership reflects Egypt’s growing presence at the event and its continued commitment to tourism growth.

Egypt welcomed nearly 19 million international visitors in 2025, representing a 21% increase over 2024 and significantly above the global average growth rate of 5%.

Chris Carter-Chapman, Event Director of WTM London, said the record performance of the 2025 edition had created a strong platform for further growth.

“WTM London 2025 set many records, providing us with an impressive platform for further success and growth in 2026. We look forward to welcoming the global travel industry in London to create new opportunities, fresh connections, and more prosperity for our sector,” he said.

Tickets for WTM London 2026 are available through the event’s official website, with prices set to increase from 1 August 2026.
