The World’s Leading Travel Trade Show will take place in Berlin from 16 to 18 March 2027. With its new campaign, it focuses on the developments shaping global tourism, i.e., changing travel habits, innovative mobility solutions and new technological, economic and social conditions. It shows how markets, destinations and business models are constantly evolving, creating new prospects for tomorrow’s world of travel.
ITB Berlin is promoting the 2027 event under the slogan ’Travel & Tourism in Motion’. Together with Rupp, an international PR and communications agency, it is launching a campaign that portrays tourism as an industry constantly in motion. Both the visual and content design address current changes and highlight how diverse and dynamic the international tourism industry is becoming.
The focus is on ITB Berlin as a platform for dialogue, orientation and business. This is where decision-makers, companies and destinations come together, discuss new developments and gain inspiration for future strategies. The slogan embodies what makes this industry unique: an ability to constantly reinvent itself and respond to global change.
“Tourism is much more than just travel. It is a driver of economic development, innovation and international networking. The industry is always in motion, and it is precisely this dynamism that ITB Berlin brings to the fore. It is where key players come together to forge new ideas, analyse global trends and help shape the future of travel,” said Deborah Rothe, Director of ITB Berlin.
A central element of the campaign is the new key visual, which brings the dynamic nature of global tourism to life. Created at ITB Berlin 2026 with actual exhibitors and visitors, it showcases a representative cross-section of the international tourism community. The motif represents the diversity of people, ideas and perspectives that come together at ITB Berlin, bringing the trade show to life as a place for global dialogue. Each exhibition segment of ITB Berlin will also receive its own key visual, with the tagline ‘in Motion’ added to each one.
