The country which has been adjudged as the world’s seventh most popular tourist destination boasts of the famous Aztec ruins, Frida Kahlo museums, famed Mayan ruins down to its relaxing beaches.

Yes, Mexico currently remains accessible to tourists. However, the land border between Mexico and the United States is closed for nonessential travel through at least May 21, 2021.

Persons trying to enter through the southern border with Guatemala and Belize may also be denied entry for nonessential travel.

Do you need a PCR test to enter Mexico?

There is no need to provide a negative PCR test upon arrival in Mexico. However, air travellers to the country are required to complete a mobile health declaration form before they arrive in Mexico.  Once it is completed, it generates a QR code to be scanned by officials at their arrival airport for entry.
