Italy, being one of the European countries to suffer great loss from the effects of the pandemic is yet to find a lasting solution to the daily increase in infections.

Italy’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Luigi Di Maio initially took to Facebook on May 8, to talk about the government’s plans for opening to tourists.

According to him, tourism is a key part of Italy getting back to normal and the government is working to reopen the country to visitors from foreign countries which have reached a high rate of vaccination by mid-May.
