Travelers at the moment are not allowed into Italy for tourism purposes yet.

All restrictions for Covid-19 travels are still in place while the Italian government is working towards easing such restrictions.

Italy’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Luigi Di Maio initially took to Facebook on May 8, to talk about the government’s plans for opening to tourists.

According to him, tourism is a key part of Italy getting back to normal and the government is working to reopen the country to visitors from foreign countries which have reached a high rate of vaccination by mid-May.
