Located 20km from Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana, the Wli Waterfalls is gradually receiving high patronage.

Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in Ghana has its stunning and mesmerizing nature attracting lots of tourists in the last few months.

The Wli Waterfalls over the years had been playing second fiddle to the famous Boti Waterfalls which is located in Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana, but looked to be drawing level with the latter in the last few months.

It flows throughout the year. It is located at the edge of the Agumatsa Wildlife Sanctuary, which has hundreds of fruit bats and few monkeys and antelopes, another wonderful tourist site which barely receive patronage.

The Waterfalls which remains the highest in West Africa has water descend from a height of about 1,600 feet.

Various organizations and groups further use the Wli Waterfalls for the picnics and other social gathering.

213km from Accra, approximately a 3-hour drive, one can get to the Wli Waterfalls.
