It is no secret that Ghanaians love shopping and our shopping centres be it open markets or malls are always overcrowded with shoppers from all walks of life, especially on holidays or during festive periods like Christmas and New year. But what are the top shopping places in Ghana where you are most likely to find everything you need? This is a question that most Ghanaians find themselves asking before they step out due to the different type of stuff we normally have on our shopping list, from cooking utensils to electronics hence the need to get a one-stop-shop or place where all the can be found. To make it easier for you, we bring you the top places to shop in Ghana where you are assured to get everything you need.

Makola Market

You cannot discuss the best shopping places in Ghana and leave out Makola market. This old market is without a doubt the most popular open market in Ghana and has the widest range of products for shoppers to choose from. Almost every kind of shop can be found in the market, be it electronic shop, clothing shop or vegetable shop, just name what you are looking for and you sure would find someone selling it inside Makola market. More exciting, prices of items here are relatively cheaper when compared to other markets and shopping malls around the country.

Accra Mall

Accra Mall is found near the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange, off the Spintex Road in Accra. The mall is very popular and one of the most patronized shopping places in Accra because of its wonderful and serene environment as well as wide range of products. At Accra Mall one can find anything including restaurants and Pizza joints.

La Paz Night Market

People may not mention the La Paz Night Market when we are discussing the top places to shop in Ghana but I tell you this, you would be amazed at what you find should you the market which usually kicks off around 6pm on the La Paz main street, (off the Kasoa and Cape Coast highways). Here you can find anything you are looking for, be it second-hand clothing or brand new fashion wears and electronics.
