Top places to enjoy live band in Koforidua

No matter the quality of a produced piece of musical work, live bands would always be the best best of any musical group, musician or instrumentalist.

Live bands, therefore, are not only to be enjoyed but also to be seen as an appreciation of the prowess of a musical artiste. In Ghana, live bands would do all sorts of genres. One would see live bands perform mostly at funerals and at Jackson’s Park.

In the city of Koforidua, Jackson’s Park will be blurring with live band music almost every Saturday and Sunday evening as part of funeral events. Aside from that, there are places in the city where you can enjoy live band music can be enjoyed. Here are a few.

Legion Hall

The forecourt of the Legion Hall hitherto was known just for food and drinks laced with music from a “spinning set of equipment ”. However, on certain days this spot graces its visitors with lots of live band music. Some of the times, the Ghana Police Band is the group that performs. Their experience and excellent delivery of every musical piece make them second to none in the region. Wherever the Koforidua Ghana Police Band is seen, that spot gathers crowd because of their excellent rendition of the songs they sing. Their sound quality is of the best.

Dadi’s Bar

A child of the Joy Industries, the Dadi’ Bar has gained a reputation for being one of the most vibrant places for nightlife in Koforidua. The band which performs every now then.

On special days or holidays, you are sure to have the live band of Dadi’s Bar performing at the spot. The bar located at the Kenkey Factory is home to a series of events every night. As part of the Joy Multimedia family some there are occasionally events of Bryt Fm that take place at the place which contribute to the liveliness that one enjoys at Dadi’s Bar.

Democracy Village

Though not as frequent as one would have it, Democracy Village occasionally churns out performances of live band music. This happened mostly during festivities. It is not uncommon to find live band music during periods like Easter festivities, Christmas and other national or public holidays.
