Blogger, Sanitation and Tourism Ambassador for Cape Coast, Ekow Simpson, on his usual travels to tourist attractions in the Central Region of Ghana visited Kakum National Park. The Park, which is one of the major tourism assets in the country now has a Children’s Park. The less publicised Children’s Park is an artificial version of the main park and a smaller canopy walkway designed for children.

The beautifully created park has a lot to offer children who want to have the best experience of having fun at the most visited park in Africa.

Replica animals such as the elephant, antelope among others can be found as well as a replica Canopy walk just for the younger kids.

The new Children’s Park has a playground with playing equipment like the sea-saw, Merry-Go-Round, Teeter-Totters, Metal Slides, Witch’s Hat, Metal or Wooden Swings and a lot more.

This is one major project I am embarking this year. I will be reviewing interesting landmarks such as tourist sites, hotels, guest-houses, schools, businesses and more in Cape Coast, Central Region.
