Kenya Airways alliance and how to join their Frequent Flyer Program

Kenya Airways is a member of the Sky Team, and not Star Alliance.  Sky Team is an alliance of some airlines geared towards providing passengers with a comfortable and seamless travel experience. The alliance consists of 19 airlines and welcome over 676 million customers each year on more than 15,445 flights daily to destinations of 1,036 globally.

Sky Team is also well known for its Flying Blue Membership package for regular passengers. Passengers who are members of Flying Blue earn Miles, and with their miles, they can gain access to special treatment and services. Passengers who are flying Blue members can also gain Experience Points (XP) and advance to the next level for more generous perks; getting more goodies and packages from the airline.

Below are steps to follow in registering for Flying Blue

1. Visit https://login.Flyingblue.com
2. Click on Join now
3. Enter First and Last name
4. Click on continue
5. Provide primary information on your date of birth and gender
6. Fill in the country of residence, language, country code and email address
7. Read preference session and select your desired offer of subscription
8. Enter password
9. Read and agree on terms and conditions
10. Click on create account
11. Copy and save your generated Flying Blue number and click on continue to complete the registration process
