SOLVED: Difficulty in signing and submitting DV lottery DS-260 form

Winners of Diversity Visa lottery are expected to complete form DS-260 to initiate the visa application process.

Almost all applicants get stuck at the last stage of the DS-260 form where the person filling the form has to sign and submit.

A KCC Case Number error is returned upon submission and this leaves many worried. Some even think their case numbers are wrong or they have been removed from the list of winners.

To solve this, first crosscheck to ensure you keyed in the right Case Number. Case numbers have the following format:

2019AF000112345

Now clear all the Zeros that come after the letter ‘F’. It should then look like this:

2019AF112345

Submit the form and this should work.
