Singapore Visa For Ghanaians: How To Travel To Singapore From Ghana

Singapore is a visa-free country for holders of Ghanaian passports. Citizens of Ghana are exempted from visa requirements when travelling to Singapore. The country adds up to the over 60 countries that Ghanaians can travel to without a visa.

Return or Onward Ticket

Ghanaians travelling to Singapore must hold a return or onward ticket. Persons holding one-way tickets may be denied entry.

Cash

Travellers should carry cash enough to cover their stay in the country. The amount of money you are to carry depends on the cost of living of the country you are visiting. A budget of $50 – $100 daily is recommended.

Accommodation

Ghanaians are required to carry The International Certificate of Vaccination, otherwise known as Yellow Card, when travelling. Ghana is among the countries at risk of Yellow fever transmission and as such a certificate to show a vaccination against the disease is required by Ghanaians.

Taking note of the period of stay allowed as mentioned above is very important. Visa-free doesn’t mean stay forever. Staying beyond the period permitted is illegal and persons who overstay may be prosecuted, fined, or forcibly removed.

Flights from Ghana to Singapore

Emirates, Air France, British Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, KLM, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines. A Transit visa is needed to travel to Singapore on Air France, British Airways and KLM. Turkish Airlines may not board passengers without visas. Talk to the airline before buying a ticket to a visa-free country.
