The IPS is specifically designed for youths from developing countries who have completed high school (for undergraduate programs) or an undergraduate degree (for postgraduate programs).

The International Priority Scholarship at University in Surakarta includes several benefits:

– A monthly stipend of IDR 1,750,000.
– An allowance of IDR 50,000 per month for books and notebooks.
– Comprehensive health insurance.
– Visa fee coverage.
– Round-trip flight ticket.
– Books allowance.
– One-year Bahasa Indonesia course (for Regular Program).
– Health insurance.
– Tuition fee waiver for 8 semesters.

Postgraduate:
– Tuition fee waiver (4 semesters for Master’s, 6 semesters for Doctoral).
– Similar allowances and benefits as the undergraduate program.

Students can choose from a variety of courses, including:

– Health
– Economics and Business
– Law
– Engineering
– Pharmacy
– Geography
– Psychology
– Islamic Studies
– Communications and Informatics

To be eligible for University in Surakarta scholarship, applicants must provide:

– A personal photo (JPEG, 4X6 cm with a blue background).
– Passport copy (PDF, fully scanned including all corners).
– Letter of motivation.
– Secondary school certificate.
– Letter of recommendation.
– Medical report.
– English language certificate (for International Class).
– Arabic proficiency certificate (for Islamic Studies in International Class).

Applications are to be submitted online via the university’s official portal: Muhammadiyah University Application Portal. The deadline for University in Surakarta International Priority Scholarship application submission is Wednesday, 15th May 2024.
