Australia is one of the most developed countries in the world; with a well-structured economy, well-planned cities and a good standard of living for residents. Expected of such a developed country, the number of people seeking visas to travel to the country, mostly with the intent of working is high.

The recent rise in infrastructural projects in rural and regional areas of Australia has led to the high demand of skilled professionals like electricians, bricklayers and plumbers.

The mentioned occupations are, however, only a few of the jobs in demand on the Australian market released by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

As of December 15, 2019, there were 674 occupations on the Australian skilled occupation list available for immigrants to grab. Aside from having at least two years working experience, applicants must also meet other requirements, including passing an English proficiency test.
