The questions that run on the minds of tourists who want to visit Cefalu are; where am I going to stay? what am I going to eat? where am I going to park my car and how long can I stay in Cefalu?

The longer to stay in Cefalu depends on two factors, the budget of tourists and sites to see.  Ideally, five days are enough.

Sample travel itinerary of Cefalu

Day 1, (arrival and settlement)

A tourist is most likely to use the first day in Cefalu to settle down, secure a parking spot should they travel with their private vehicles and after relax to replenish themselves of all lost energies.

Day 2, (a visit to the Norman Cathedral)

Most tourists after a night stay in Cefalu move quickly to visit the Norman Cathedral built by King Roger II. The magnificent cathedral does not have facilities for visitors and tourist alike to stay for more than a day, hence tourist may decide to use their second day in Cefalu to explore the wonders of the glorious Cathedral of Cefalu.

Day 3, (a visit to the Museo Mandralisca)

A tourist can on their third day of stay in Cefalu visit the Museo Mandralisca after they have seen the famous Norman Cathedral. The Museo Mandralisca is famous for its archaeological artefacts and picture gallery. The museum can boast of the famous works of famous artisans like, Antonello da Messina.

Day 4 and 5, (a visit to the beach)

A tourist can never boast of ever visiting Cefalu if they have never seen the beautiful beaches of the town. For a better appreciation of the beach, one may decide to book accommodation at the beach for a minimum of two days. This is so because, during the day, activities at the beach are swimming and sandbathe, however, in the evening, recreational firms in the area organizes bonfire, live band for tourists and no tourist would want to miss out on that.
