Chulalongkorn University’s International School of Engineering (ISE) is offering the ISE Scholarship for Foreign Students for the academic year 2024. This scholarship presents a wonderful opportunity for international students to pursue their studies at the esteemed university. The application deadline for this scholarship is February 5, 2024, and interested candidates can submit their applications online.
The ISE Scholarship offers two types of funding: the Full Scholarship and the Tuition Scholarship. The Full Scholarship includes tuition and program fees for four years, round-trip airfare from the student’s home country to Bangkok, a monthly stipend, accommodation allowance, and health insurance coverage. On the other hand, the Tuition Scholarship covers just the tuition and program fees for four years, along with health insurance.
To be eligible for the ISE Engineering Scholarship, international students must apply for the Bachelor of Engineering (International Program). They must also express their intention to apply for the scholarship, agree to the terms and conditions, maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPAX) of 3.00, and contribute to promoting ISE programs for a total of 80 hours each semester.
In addition to the above, applicants must be under 25 years old, of non-Thai nationality, and have completed high school or its equivalent. They should also be in good health to qualify for the scholarship.
The application timeline for the ISE Scholarship has two phases. The first application phase runs from December 25, 2023, to February 5, 2024, with successful recipients being announced on March 4, 2024. The second application phase is scheduled from March 20 to May 10, 2024, with the announcement of the scholarship awardees set for June 5, 2024.
Applicants are evaluated and ranked based on their adherence to the admission criteria and the overall strength of their application. Successful candidates can have their scholarship suspended or revoked if they suffer from a serious illness affecting their studies, fail to maintain the required GPA, or do not fulfill the program promotion requirement.
The application process for the ISE Scholarship is conducted online and does not require any application fee.
