The Rhodes scholarship was established in 1902 with the will of Cecil John Rhodes, and it is one of the oldest and most high-paying international scholarships, with over 100 years of award history. Winning the Rhodes Scholarship is a source of pride and recognition. It is an esteemed scholarship that will enhance your resume and academic achievements.

Big Win for Ghana: U.S. Restores 5-Year Multiple-Entry Visas

If you win a Rhodes Trust Scholarship, you will receive funding of £18,180/year, which amounts to around £1515/month to cover your residence and living expenses in the UK. However, this funding is only enough for 1 student, so if you have dependents, you will need additional funding.

In addition to the scholarship funding, the University of Oxford also provides assistance for international students in applying for their British Study Visa and, in some cases, may sponsor economy flight tickets for students.

To apply for the Rhodes Scholarships at the University of Oxford, you must meet the eligibility criteria, including having a GPA of 3.7 out of 4, being between 18-27 years old, and meeting the eligibility requirements of your preferred courses at Oxford University. You can check the online assessment of country-specific eligibility for Rhodes and then create an online account to submit your application, including required documents such as a research proposal, motivation letter, degrees, study plan, and recommendation letters.

The deadline to submit the Rhodes Scholarship application for the 2024-2025 academic programs at the University of Oxford is October 3, 2023. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to further your education at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Apply now for the Rhodes Scholarship and pave the way for a bright future.
