Are you a student looking to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia for free? Then you’re in luck because the Malaysian government has recently announced the fully funded Malaysian International Scholarships (MIS) 2024. This program is part of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) and is open to international students for master’s, Ph.D., or postdoc subjects.

To be eligible for the Malaysia MIS scholarship, applicants must be under the age of 45 and have a CGPA score of over 3 in their last attended degree. Without meeting these requirements, you may not be eligible to apply.

One of the great things about the MIS scholarship is that IELTS or TOEFL is not a mandatory requirement. English language proficiency test scores are accepted, and having a TOEFL score of 550 or an IELTS score of 6 bands will make you eligible to apply.

Winning the fully funded Malaysian international scholarship 2024 comes with great benefits. Recipients will receive a RM 1500 per month stipend and have their educational costs fully sponsored. The scholarship covers a wide range of subjects, including social sciences, business, arts & humanities, agriculture, journalism, law, statistics, forestry, engineering, healthcare & medicine, pharmacy, IT, and more.

The MIS scholarships are offered at several Malaysian universities, including Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), and many others.

If this sounds like an opportunity you don’t want to miss, be sure to mark the application deadline of May 17, 2023, on your calendar. Gathering all the required documents for the application, such as academic degrees, a 1000-word research proposal, a CV, English language proficiency proof, and recommendation letters from previous professors, is essential to successfully apply for the scholarship.

After the application review process, successful scholarship recipients will be required to apply for a Malaysia study visa in order to begin their studies in Malaysia. This is an incredible opportunity for students looking to further their education and experience in a vibrant and diverse country like Malaysia.
