2024 KTH Scholarships in Sweden for International Students

Are you dreaming of pursuing a master’s degree in Sweden? The KTH Royal Institute of Technology brings an incredible opportunity for international students with its (Kungliga Tekniska högskolan) KTH Scholarships for 2024. This Swedish scholarship is designed to support your academic journey by covering the full tuition fee for a one or two-year master’s program. If you’re an international student with academic brilliance and a desire to study at KTH, this opportunity is for you!

The KTH Scholarship takes care of your tuition fees for both the first and second years at KTH, conditional on achieving satisfactory academic results in the first year. Please note, however, that this Sweden KTH scholarship does not cover living expenses.

This scholarship is open to all nationalities. However, there are certain conditions you need to meet:

– You must be an international student who pays fees and has applied for a master’s program at KTH.
– You should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
– Demonstrating excellent academic and research abilities is crucial.
– Ensure you meet the admission requirements of the program you’re applying for.

Your application for KTH scholarship will be evaluated based on:

– Your grades (GPA or equivalent).
– The reputation of the university where you obtained your bachelor’s degree.
– Your overall motivation, relevant work experience, and extra-curricular activities.
– Your ambition to contribute to sustainable development goals with a master’s degree from KTH.

Applications for 2024 master’s programs are open until 15 January.

Steps to Apply:

1. Select Your Program: Browse through 63 master’s programs to find one that aligns with your interests. Detailed information about each program, including courses, career prospects, and sustainability aspects, is available on the program pages.
2. Review Admission Requirements: Check both general and specific requirements on the program pages. Admission is competitive, so fulfilling these requirements is crucial.
3. Apply by 15 January 2024: Use University Admissions page to create an account and select up to four programs, ranking them according to your preference.
4. Apply for KTH Scholarships: Submit your application for KTH Scholarship as well.
5. Submit Documents by 1 February: Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded to University Admissions by this date. Early submission is advised for prompt feedback on any missing or incomplete items.
6. Pay Application Fee by 1 February: Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens must pay a fee of SEK 900. Payment can be made on the University Admissions site. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens should provide proof of citizenship.
7. Admission Results on 21 March: Check your results on University Admissions. If admitted, KTH will contact you with further instructions and help prepare for your arrival in Stockholm

Application opens: 1 December 2023
Application closes: 15 January 2024 (midnight CET)
