I stayed at The Circus Berlin Hostel in Berlin when I visited Germany in March 2023 for ITB Berlin 2023. This was actually my first time staying in a hostel.
One of the standout features of the hostel is its location, just steps away from the Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn station, which provides easy access to the rest of the city. The hostel’s proximity to popular attractions like the Berlin Wall and the Brandenburg Gate makes it an ideal base for exploring the city.
The dorms and private rooms are modern and well-equipped with free Wi-Fi, lockers, and desks, while the apartments provide added convenience with their kitchens, living rooms, and balconies. The onsite restaurant with its own brewery is a unique feature that adds to the overall experience.
However, the lack of air conditioning may be a downside during the summer months, and the breakfast options could be more varied. Nonetheless, the hostel is moderately priced and provides good value for money considering the cost of living in Germany.
I forgot my items in the hostel lockers and they have kept them safe for me to pick them up during my next visit in June.
The Circus Hostel is a great option for travelers looking for a well-located and well-equipped hostel in Berlin.
