Cefalu is a coastal city within the northern part of Sicily, Italy. The town is known for its beautiful and hilly landscape, beautiful beaches, nice food and the historic and glamorous cathedral of the Norman king, King Rogers II.
The coastal town is also home to the famous archaeological museum and arts gallery, Museo Mandralisca.

Most tourists after a night stay in Cefalu move quickly to visit the Norman Cathedral built by King Roger II. The magnificent cathedral does not have facilities for visitors and tourist alike to stay for more than a day, hence tourist may decide to use their second day in Cefalu to explore the wonders of the glorious Cathedral of Cefalu.
Day 3, (a visit to the Museo Mandralisca)
A tourist can on their third day of stay in Cefalu visit the Museo Mandralisca after they have seen the famous Norman Cathedral. The Museo Mandralisca is famous for its archaeological artefacts and picture gallery. The museum can boast of the famous works of famous artisans like, Antonello da Messina.
Day 4 and 5, (a visit to the beach)
A tourist can never boast of ever visiting Cefalu if they have never seen the beautiful beaches of the town. For a better appreciation of the beach, one may decide to book accommodation at the beach for a minimum of two days. This is so because, during the day, activities at the beach are swimming and sandbathe, however, in the evening, recreational firms in the area organizes bonfire, live band for tourists and no tourist would want to miss out on that.
