Purchasing extra baggage is when passengers are made to pay for additional luggage that exceeds the luggage allowance that is allocated to them based on their ticket class. With Emirates Airlines, baggage allowance varies depending on passengers’ route, class of travel, fare type, and Emirates Skywards membership tier.
