Are you interested in studying for free in Singapore? If so, the time to apply for the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) scholarships is now. The application deadline for the 2024 scholarships is June 1, 2023. These scholarships are co-sponsored by the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
If you are an international student studying physical sciences, biomedical sciences, engineering and technology, or computing and information sciences, you are eligible to apply for the SINGA award scholarship program. To be eligible for the SINGA Scholarship 2024, international students who have never entered or stayed in Singapore for the purpose of studying are eligible to apply. However, Singaporean nationals or those who have studied in Singapore before are not eligible to apply for the SINGA awards program.
The winners of SINGA awards will receive a free education in a Singaporean university, along with a monthly stipend of S$2,200-S$2,700. In addition, they will receive a travel allowance of S$1500 and a one-time settlement allowance of S$1000.
To apply for the Singapore graduate award scholarship 2024, you will need to find a research project at one of the affiliated Singaporean research institutes. Once you have chosen a research project, you will need to submit an online application at the SINGA award application portal, along with a set of application documents including original recommendation letters, passport, test results, research proposal, and academic transcripts.
