Step 1: Shortlist Canadian universities as per your subject/degree options

Start your search at least 6 months before the next batch enrollment and identify which Canadian universities offer the subjects and degree programs you want to pursue.

Step 2: Check eligibility criteria for admission at preferred degree/course

After you’ve shortlisted the universities, check their eligibility criteria and English language requirements. If you’re from a non-native English-speaking country, you may need to take English language proficiency tests.

Step 3: Discover the application method at shortlisted Canadian universities

Once you’ve met all the requirements, find out how to submit your application for admission and explore the application fees and document requirements.

Step 4: Explore scholarships in Canada to sponsor your admission

Considering the high cost of education in Canada, it’s beneficial to explore scholarships to fund your studies. Some scholarships in Canada are granted without an IELTS requirement.

Step 5: Read eligibility requirements of scholarships in Canada

If you decide to apply for a scholarship, make sure you’re aware of the eligibility requirements before submitting your application.

Step 6: Apply for admission and scholarship in Canada

Create a free account on the university admissions portal and submit your application for admission and scholarship. You should be able to complete this process on your own without the need for an agent.

Step 7: Time to apply for Canadian study VISA

After receiving an admission letter, apply for a study VISA for Canada and gather the necessary documents for the visa application.

Step 8: Fly to Canada to start your studies at a Canadian university

If your study VISA is approved, book your flight, get travel insurance, and embark on your journey to start your academic dream in Canada.

Make sure to stay updated and always stay in the know with relevant and up-to-date information on travel, living in a foreign land and studying in Canada. Remember that Canada is a beautiful country that is diverse and rich in many aspects, so make sure to enjoy your time there. Safe travels!
