Prospective applicants may be required to pass two tests to qualify for the Kazakhstan scholarship: a mandatory psychological assessment, and an adaptive capacity check test with 80 questions that must be completed in 120 minutes. Successful candidates are then invited for an online Zoom interview for the final stage assessment before university placement.

Once selected, students have the opportunity to choose from over 35 Kazakhstan government universities, including Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Satbayev University, and Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, among others.

Applying for the Kazakh government scholarship is easily done online but requires satisfying language requirements and having all the necessary application documents ready for submission. The scholarships are offered based on English, German, or French language proficiency clearance.

For English language programs, a minimum score of 5.5 bands in IELTS academic, at least 46 in TOEFL iBT, or 453 in TOEFL PBT is required. German language taught programs require B2 or level 2 in Deutsche Sprachpruefung fuer den Hochschulzugang or TestDaF-prufung exams. French language programs require a B2 level in listening and reading sections in TFI, DELF, or TCG exams.

Additionally, applicants are required to provide several documents, including their passport, language proficiency certificate, transcript with degree, letter of motivation, original recommendation letters, filled Kazakh scholarship form, and foreigner’s medical fitness clearance certificates.

Overall, the Kazakhstan government scholarships offer a remarkable opportunity for international students to pursue their higher education in a diverse range of programs across Kazakhstan. The fully funded scholarships, availability of master’s and PhD programs, and the extensive list of universities make it an attractive option for students seeking to broaden their academic horizons.
