Applications Now Open for SINGA 2023-2024 Scholarships by A*STAR Singapore International Graduate Awards

Singapore International Graduate Awards (SINGA) 2023 Scholarships are now open for international students to apply. This fully-funded scholarship program is for international students who want to pursue a Ph.D. in Singapore. The program is affiliated with top universities in Singapore, including the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Nanyang Technological University, and the National University of Singapore.

The benefits of the SINGA scholarship program are comprehensive, including a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend ranging from $2,000 to $2,500, a one-time settlement allowance of $1,000, and a one-time airfare allowance of $1,500 for travel to and from Singapore. The program covers the doctoral studies of its recipients for up to four years.

To be eligible for the SINGA scholarships, candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Physical Science, or related subject areas. They should also have above-average English speaking and writing skills and provide strong references from professors and/or employers.

The application procedure for the SINGA scholarships requires candidates to fill in the online application available on the SINGA website. Along with the application, candidates need to submit various documents, including passport copies, a passport-sized photo, degree transcripts, study plans, research proposals, and recommendation letters.

The deadline for the 2023 SINGA scholarships application is June 1, 2022. It’s important for interested students to submit their applications and required documents before the deadline to be considered for the program.

The SINGA scholarship program offers international students the opportunity to experience the rich culture and diversity of Singapore while studying at some of the best institutions known for world-class research and competence. There are about 240 scholarships available, and the host institutions teach entirely in English. The scholarship is sponsored by the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research in Singapore.
