The scholarship includes the complete tuition fees (at the overseas rate), along with any mandatory field trip fees. A tax-free stipend of GBP 19,500.00 is provided to cover living expenses.

To be considered for the LSHTM Fund Scholarship, applicants must be nationals and residents of low to middle-income countries, as per the World Bank classification, intend to return to their home country after completing their studies, provide written confirmation of financial need, meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements, possess a first or upper second-class honors undergraduate degree or an equivalent international qualification, and hold an offer of admission for 2024-25 for an LSHTM full-time, one-year, London-based MSc program.
The LSHTM Fund Scholarship for 2024 emphasizes the importance of English language proficiency for its applicants. Accepted tests include the IELTS Academic and Pearson PTE Academic. Specific score requirements vary depending on the program’s band level.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit an application for a London-based MSc program, ensuring the selection of the LSHTM Fund Scholarship in the ‘FUNDING DETAILS’ section. They should also attach a completed Scholarship Application Form to the MSc program application.
Application requirements include a detailed CV, graduation certificate and transcript, a letter of intent, a proposal of research, English language proficiency proof (if available), a valid passport, a recent personal photo, and two letters of recommendation.
