2024 Tongji University Marine and CSC Scholarships Available for International Students

Winners of this scholarship at Tongji University will receive a tuition fee waiver, free on-campus accommodation or off-campus accommodation subsidy, a monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance. The scholarship is open to non-Chinese citizens from coastal/island countries of the South China Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific, its surrounding island countries, or African developing countries.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related fields, and the scholarship covers various subjects including marine science, geophysics, and engineering. The duration of master’s programs is 2-3 years, while doctoral programs last for 4 years, with an additional year provided for Chinese language training if required.

The application process for the Marine Scholarship of China requires applicants to complete an online application on the CSC website and submit another application on Tongji University’s portal with all required documents. The deadline for submission is January 20, 2024, with results announced around May 2024.
