2024 Margaret McNamara Education Grants: Scholarships for Women

The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) provide financial assistance to exceptional women from developing countries, aged 25 or older, who are pursuing higher education in the US, Canada, and select regions. The scholarship aims to empower women by equipping them with the education and skills needed to positively impact women and children in their home countries, fostering community development and change.

US Visa

Big Win for Ghana: U.S. Restores 5-Year Multiple-Entry Visas

– US-Canada Program: Available to full-time students in the US or Canada with a relevant student visa. Applications are open from September 15 to January 15, with scholarships valued at $15,000. More information and application at MMEG US-Canada Program.

– Trinity Washington University Program: Open to full-time/part-time students at Trinity Washington University, including international students and US residents.

– South Africa Program: Accepts applications from May 15 to September 14. Applicants should be enrolled at a South African university and hold a study permit if they are international students.

– France and Latin America Programs

Eligibility criteria for the MMEG Scholarship 2024 include being at least 25 years old, being a national from a country on the MMEG Country Eligibility List, and being registered at an accredited in-person academic institution at the time of application.

Specific program requirements and application processes vary for each program and country, with different deadlines and eligibility criteria.
