The MOE Taiwan scholarships are available for undergrad students for up to 4 years, master students for up to 2 years, and doctoral degree students for up to 4 years. However, all students must pass an annual review of the scholarship to continue receiving funding.

To apply for the Taiwan government scholarship, interested students must apply for admission directly at the listed Taiwanese government universities. Admission requirements and application deadlines vary for each university, but common application documents include 2 recommendation letters, a research proposal/study plan, previous transcripts/degrees, the MOE scholarship application form, a passport, and a language proficiency certificate.

Students can apply for admission at multiple Taiwanese universities on MOE or MOFA scholarships. If selected by multiple universities, they will have to choose one scholarship/admission offer and travel to Taiwan in September to complete their enrollment and start their classes.

For more information and to apply, interested students can visit the websites of the following Taiwanese universities: National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Taipei University, National Tsing Hua University, National Chung Cheng University, and National Chung Hsing University.
