In partnership with Hotel Chocolat, British Airways is offering a hot chocolate winter warmer in its Concorde Room and a festive chocolate cream cocktail in its First lounge. A British Original artist will create a live winter wonderland masterpiece on the walkway between the main lounges in Heathrow Terminal 5, using ‘snow graffiti’ to depict a British skyline scene with snowy décor.

In-Flight Festivities

Boarding a British Airways flight during the festive period brings passengers into a world of holiday cheer. Specially designed festive headrest covers featuring the airline’s bespoke Christmas ribbon design adorn the seats. Farewell chocolates are handed out to all departing passengers.

On long-haul flights, passengers can enjoy traditional Christmas dinners served on festive-themed trays. The airline expects to serve an impressive 380,000 Christmas dinners, complete with over 600,000 Brussels sprouts and 8,000 Yule logs. A dedicated ‘Christmas countdown’ channel offers more than 1,500 hours of inflight entertainment, featuring 20 classic Christmas films and 50 TV Christmas specials. Festive-scented soap is available in the onboard restrooms.

As an exclusive gift for premium customers traveling on December 24 and 25, British Airways will present each passenger with a beautifully hand-painted, bespoke glass Christmas bauble.

Various Christmas drinks, including Black Cow’s Christmas Spirit vodka and Brewdog’s Elf lager, are also on offer.

The ‘Big Little Welcome’ campaign invites customers to submit welcome messages for loved ones. Selected messages will be displayed on billboards and airport screens at Heathrow, Gatwick, and City airports from December 15 to 24.
