When planning a visit to Pulau Ubin from Singapore, there’s no need to worry about passport arrangements.

The journey is a mere 15-minute boat ride from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, and passports are not required for this domestic excursion.

Bumboat Service Details

The primary mode of transport to Pulau Ubin is the bumboat service, operating daily from 7 am to 7 pm. Each bumboat can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers, ensuring an intimate and personalized journey.

The boats do not adhere to a fixed timetable; they depart when there are enough passengers, typically around 9 to 12 individuals. This flexibility adds a touch of spontaneity to your Pulau Ubin adventure.

Payment and Boarding

As you arrive at Changi Point Ferry Terminal, simply approach the bumboat captain to pay the fare. The cost is $4 per person for a single trip to Pulau Ubin. If you plan to bring along a bicycle, an additional $2 fee applies.

No advance bookings are required for the bumboat service. Once the boat reaches its maximum capacity, it sets sail, making for a seamless and straightforward boarding process.
