Italy has five autonomous regions of which it is a part. It is officially referred to as Regione Siciliana and has approximately, 5 million inhabitants.

Sicily Weather in October
The month of October is known as a pleasant period in Sicily wherein the weather is comfortingly warm and mild with bouts of rain and wind. Temperatures within this period range from 14-21 degree Celsius. Coastal towns within Sicily also experience something quite similar. When one’s fortunate and the sirocco blows in from Africa, the spike in temperature makes visiting the beach even more pleasurable.
Apart from the Eastern Catania plain, the interior of the island consists of hills and mountains with temperatures varying from 12-22 degree Celsius in Ragusa and Caltanissetta.
Sicily Weather in November
November is one of the wettest times of the year where the rains and fog just keep coming. Generally, Sicily keeps a mild Mediterranean climate, hence the temperatures along the coastal areas like Palermo, Celafu and Trapani ranges from 13-19 degrees Celsius. The hilly and mountainous areas in Sicily are cooler during this period……nut more defined in the evenings when the temperature can fall as low as 9 degrees Celsius. In this period, it is advisable to have warmer layers and a waterproof jacket.
Sicily Weather in December
December is the rainiest month in Sicily. It is mostly cloudy. Temperatures here range from 11-16 degree Celsius. The hills within the interior of the island are colder. During this time, it is most advisable to travel with an umbrella, sunglasses, warmer layers or a winter gear.
