This summer, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will be offering its customers the opportunity to explore more than 130 destinations in over 40 countries. With the introduction of nine new European destinations, SAS is set to provide an exciting and diverse travel experience for its passengers.
From Copenhagen, travelers can now enjoy direct flights to Ibiza, Salzburg, Genoa, Tromsø, and Turkey’s enchanting Dalaman/Turquoise coast. Additionally, flights from Bergen to London and from Oslo to Geneva, Milan, and Tivat along the coast of Montenegro are now available, as revealed by SAS in a recent statement.
Erik Westman, Chief Revenue Officer at SAS, expressed his enthusiasm for the summer traffic program, stating, “In addition to seamless connectivity to major cities and capitals, our summer traffic program offers new holiday destinations like Ibiza, Genoa, and Tivat. For those seeking familiar favorites, we’ve boosted capacity to destinations such as Malaga, Florence, Palma, and Alicante.”
SAS is also expanding its flight offerings to perennial favorites Spain and Italy, with increased services from all three Scandinavian capitals. Oslo will offer up to 17 flights to Alicante, and Stockholm and Copenhagen will see up to an impressive 20 weekly flights to Malaga.
The expansion doesn’t stop there, as Milan will enjoy four daily services from Copenhagen, with daily flights to Florence also originating from Copenhagen. Oslo is included in the expansion with 14 weekly departures to Split, and during the peak summer season, travelers can fly with SAS from Stockholm twice daily to Milan and Paris.
Furthermore, Oslo and Copenhagen will maintain year-round operations in Gran Canaria. Copenhagen will be a hub for multiple daily flights, including five to Düsseldorf, four to Brussels and Gdansk, and three to Warsaw and Vilnius. Stockholm will increase its flights to Berlin, have up to six daily flights to Helsinki, and increase frequencies to Turku and Vaasa.
SAS is also increasing domestic routes, with additional departures between Stockholm and Visby, Kiruna, Skellefteå, and Östersund and up to seven daily flights from Copenhagen to Bergen during peak summer. In comparison, Oslo will offer up to two daily flights to Aalborg, four weekly flights to Billund, and increased frequencies to Northern Norway. With this expansion, travelers will have even more options and opportunities to explore the world with SAS.
