The Lithuania Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan would have been the diplomatic representation of Lithuania in Afghanistan. The embassy protects the interests of Lithuania in Afghanistan, protects and provides support for Lithuanians in Afghanistan, and issues visas to Afghans and legal residents of Afghanistan travelling to Lithuania. Unfortunately, there’s currently no Lithuanian Embassy in Afghanistan.
As the official representation of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Embassy would have covered all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Lithuania‘s interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
