1. Visit the official website of the Diversity Visa (DV) program https://dvprogram.state.gov/ESC/, which is administered by the U.S. Department of State.
2. Locate the Entrant Status Check page on the website.
3. Click on the link or button that allows you to check the status of your DV Lottery entry.
4. Right under the confirmation number field, click on Forgot Confirmation Number.
5. Complete the form which includes your name, date of birth, and email address used for the registration.
6. If you entered the information correctly, the confirmation number will appear on the next page with prefilled details to let you check the status of your entry.
