Honduras is opening its airports for international travelers. The Roatan Juan Manuel Galvez Airport is a one-stop destination for passengers, the Honduras government is implementing new immigration measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Every traveler entering Honduras must complete an online Immigration Pre-check Form. This form, however, cannot be submitted until you are within 48 hours of your entry date. The form is better completed with a desktop or laptop than a mobile device. An email will be received after submission.

To enter Honduras, you need A U.S. passport with at least six months validity. Evidence of onward travel. For stays of up to 90 days, you do not need a visa for tourism.

Do you need a PCR test to enter Honduras?
Passengers must provide negative test results for a PCR or rapid test taken less than72 hours before entry into Honduras. Below are the accepted tests for Covid-19
- Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test in real-time.
- Rapid test with a minimum Specificity of 85%, Sensitivity of 98%, or Antigen Test.
Quarantine restrictions Honduras
Honduran citizens and foreigners resident in Honduras coming from the United Kingdom or South Africa or having visited or transited through those areas in the last two weeks must quarantine for 14 days upon entry to Honduras.
Which countries are banned from entering Honduras
Honduras has not banned any citizen from any country from entering but they place much emphasis and attention on the Pre Check Form.
