Homechow, the number one food delivery app in Ghana has launched a new ad campaign titled “Hunger ‘testing’ your patience? Homechow App will come to your rescue!” The new ad campaign is one of the many ads to be rolled out in the coming weeks, to highlight how Homechow is a part of people’s everyday lives and how fast and convenient the Homechow delivery service is.
Directed by @HenryAmart and shot by @PrezNot_Studio, the one minute ad features a scene from a trotro bus where a hungry passenger is complaining to the trotro mate about passing the wrong route and ending up in a traffic jam. He remembers he has the Homechow App and places an order. In a blink of an eye, the Homechow rider arrives with the food and everyone on the bus gets curious and starts asking questions about it.
The now happy passenger explains to the other passengers what Homechow is and they all try out the Homechow app. The trotro scene ends with a person asking how he can find “Auntie Muni Waakye” on the app because his hunger pangs kicked in. (P.S. Auntie Muni Waakye actually is on the Homechow App).
Starting today, the campaign will run on broadcast (Joy TV), digital and all social media handles of Homechow. The Labadi based food delivery app works with more than 400 restaurants in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and recently announced an expansion into the Ashanti Region of Ghana starting 5th November, 2019.
