The Amsterdam Sex Museum
“In Amsterdam, everything is legal” and prostitution is one of those “everything.” In this city, prostitutes flaunt their seductive features in glass cubicles to attract those who need their services and even those who pass by for different reasons. People from all over the world exhibit their sexual prowess to patrons who visit the popular Red Light District, which is the center for all manner of sex trade in Amsterdam. This significant venue has over the years served as a source of satisfaction to the sexually starved.
“This is hell!” – I said within, the very first time I landed in Amsterdam. The city promotes sex tourism like nowhere else I have visited in my many travels around the world. Right opposite the Central station is a Sex museum, as a curious guy, I grabbed a ticket to enable me tour this one of a kind museum.
The museum has nude wax figures of Mata Hari with some of her male partners. Mata Hari, once upon a time was an erotic dancer who used her seductive prowess to uncover military secrets from her lovers during World War I. The museum also has wax figures of Marilyn Monroe, an American actress who reportedly rose to fame after posing nude for the cameras.
In the museum, I saw several wax-made male and female sexual organs and they looked so real. Sounds like the moans of people in the sexual act are head loud and clear in the museum. The voices are so tempting, they might trigger your sexual mood.
There are several sexual photos and artifacts in the museum that, I lost count of it. The sex museum is arguably the most visited and busiest tourist attraction in the Netherlands.
