As part of efforts to prevent a new wave of the deadly coronavirus pandemic in Grenada and its adverse effects on the economy of Grenade as well as to safeguard the entire citizenry against the virus. The Ministry of Health, Grenade has instituted the following entry and travel restrictions for persons who would want to visit Grenada.
Grenada travel restrictions update
The Grenada Ministry of Health new travel Covid-19 restrictions and directives which took effect from May 1, 2021, have been grouped into two categories; fully vaccinated travelers and unvaccinated travelers;
Fully Vaccinated Travelers
- Book approved accommodation for a minimum of 2 nights
- Apply for travel authorization
- Get tested 72 hours prior to travel
- Show Travel Authorization Certificate and a copy of negative RT-PCR test before boarding
- Show a copy of the vaccination card and the negative PCR test upon arrival
- Get PCR tested on arrival in Grenada
- Receive results in 48 hours
- Free to enjoy Grenada if the PCR test is negative, and you have been medically cleared by the Ministry of health.
Unvaccinated Travelers
- Book approved accommodation for a minimum of 7 days
- Apply for travel authorization
- Get tested 72 hours prior to travel
- Show Travel Authorization Certificate and copy of negative RT-PCR test before boarding
- Get tested on day 5
- Receive results in 48 hours
- Remain in isolated quarantine up to day 7 regardless of whether negative test results have been received or not
- Continue to monitor and report for 7 days after being released from quarantine
