The Embassy of Afghanistan in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic would have been the diplomatic representation of Afghanistan in Dominican Republic to protect the interests of Afghanistan in Dominican Republic, protect and provide support for Afghans in Dominican Republic, and issue visas to Dominicans and legal residents of Dominican Republic travelling to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, there’s currently no Embassy of Afghanistan in Dominican Republic.
As the official representation of Afghanistan, the Embassy would have covered all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It would have also represented Afghanistan’s interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
