The Embassy of Afghanistan in Gitega, Burundi would have been the diplomatic representation of Afghanistan in Burundi to protect the interests of Afghanistan in Burundi, protect and provide support for Afghans in Burundi, and issue visas to Burundians and legal residents of Burundi travelling to Afghanistan.
