The Embassy of Afghanistan in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso would have been the diplomatic representation of Afghanistan in Burkina Faso to protect the interests of Afghanistan in Burkina Faso, protect and provide support for Afghans in Burkina Faso, and issue visas to Burkinabé and legal residents of Burkina Faso travelling to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, there’s currently no Embassy of Afghanistan in Burkina Faso.
As the official representation of Afghanistan, the Embassy would have covered all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It would have also represented Afghanistan’s interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
