The Embassy of Afghanistan in Gaborone, Botswana would have been the diplomatic representation of Afghanistan in Botswana to protect the interests of Afghanistan in Botswana, protect and provide support for Afghans in Botswana, and issue visas to Batswana and legal residents of Botswana travelling to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, there’s currently no Embassy of Afghanistan in Botswana.
As the official representation of Afghanistan, the Embassy would have covered all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It would have also represented Afghanistan’s interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
