The Tonga Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan would have been the diplomatic representation of Tonga in Afghanistan. The embassy protects the interests of Tonga in Afghanistan, protects and provides support for Tongans in Afghanistan, and issues visas to Afghans and legal residents of Afghanistan travelling to Tonga. Unfortunately, there’s currently no Tongan Embassy in Afghanistan.
As the official representation of Tonga, the Tongan Embassy would have covered all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Tonga‘s interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
