Leuven, Belgium is a city known for its rich cultural scene and lively nightlife. It’s also home to KU Leuven, one of the oldest universities in the world. With programs in biomedical sciences, humanities, social sciences, and science and technology, this university attracts around 40,000 students every year.

Heidelberg, Germany may be a smaller city with a population of 160,000, but it has a lot to offer international students. Heidelberg University, founded in 1386, boasts more than 50 Nobel Prize winners among its affiliates. Olomouc, Czechia, is a picturesque university town with the highest density of students in Central Europe. Palacky University, which has been around for over 450 years, offers global study options, summer schools, and internships across various faculties.

Maastricht, the Netherlands, is a city known for its medieval architecture, vibrant cultural scene, and lively nightlife. Maastricht University stands out for its innovative education model, emphasizing a strong multidisciplinary approach to research and education. With over half of its student body being international, the university primarily conducts most programs in English, including bachelor’s degrees and excels as a top school in political economy.
