In addition to international destinations, domestic destinations are also gaining traction among Irish guests. Inisheer and coastal towns like Miltown and Killorglin are among the top staycation choices for Irish guests in 2024.

Airbnb has also revealed the top ten popular Irish destinations for this year based on user searches from January 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023. The list includes Wexford, Inisheer, Miltown Malbay, Killorglin, Dublin, Limerick, Ennis, Adare, Letterkenny, and Carlingford. The presence of three music concerts in Dublin in 2024 adds an extra layer of excitement for travelers seeking cultural experiences through live music.

For a peaceful getaway, Airbnb recommends Wexford and Ennis as ideal options to escape the hustle and bustle. In addition to its projections for Irish guests, Airbnb has also shared the top 24 global destinations to visit in 2024, further inspiring travelers to plan their next journey.

With the plethora of travel options available, Airbnb also suggests checking out GuestFavourites, a collection of its highest-rated and most-beloved homes, to help guests plan their visits or vacations. These homes are determined by reviews, ratings, and reliability, providing travelers with a curated selection of accommodations.
