This is one of the easiest Chinese university scholarships to win, but don’t wait too long – JSU presidential scholarship applications are only accepted until July 31, 2023 by the Overseas Education College (OEC).
The funding available under Jiangsu University scholarships is quite substantial. Students enrolling in a BS degree program can expect to receive sponsorship of ¥10,000 per year, while winners of MS degree scholarships will receive ¥20,000 per year. PhD admission on JSU presidential scholarship comes with a full tuition fee waiver, free dormitory residence, and the possibility of receiving research funds from their academic supervisor at JSU.
To apply for the JSU Presidential Scholarship, you will need to have several documents prepared, including notarized degrees with transcripts, a scanned copy of your passport, a financial statement from your family, a study plan, English language proficiency letter, a foreigner student physical examination form, two original recommendation letters, and a research proposal.
The selection procedure for the JSU Presidential Scholarship is unique. Undergraduate scholarship applicants are required to take a qualifying exam in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and English. For MS/PhD program applicants, an academic review of their publications, patents, or research proposal will be conducted.
