2024-2025 Gates Cambridge Scholarships: £17,848 Funding Available for International Students

The deadline for US citizens is October 11, 2023, while the deadline for international students is January 4, 2024.

It covers full tuition fees, provides a stipend of £17,848 for 12 months to 4 years, and also covers economy class air tickets. To be eligible for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship, you must be a US citizen or an international student and obtain admission to Cambridge University in a postgraduate course, such as a Ph.D. or an M.S. However, certain courses are not eligible for the scholarship, such as PGCE, Master of Finance, Graduate Course in Medicine, non-degree courses, undergraduate BA programs, MBA programs, MD, and part-time courses.

To apply for the scholarship, you will need to write a statement of purpose explaining your reasons for choosing Cambridge University and your need for the scholarship. For doctoral degree programs, a detailed research proposal is required. You will also need two original letters of recommendation from teachers of your last attended college or university.
